FEES AT THE APPEALS AT THE HIGH COURT AND COURT OF APPEAL

We represent clients at the High court and Court of Appeal. These can be Family Law cases or High Court cases. We also deal with Companies and insolvency cases. We charge an hourly fee to deal with these cases as Solicitors. Our fees can be found at:

In general, we will charge you an hour fee of up to £350 plus VAT at the prevailing rate of 20% to apply for Permission to appeal a lower Court’s decision at the High Court or Court of Appeal. These will be in in Family law and Civil Litigation cases. We will be glad to give you specific fees for the lodging of your appeal, and for the Oral hearing of your appeal if permission to appeal is granted.

DISBURSEMENTS

These are not our legal fees; they are third party fees and you will need to pay your disbursements. How much Disbursements you pay will depend on whether we need an expert to provide you or both parties with a report. You will pay the Barristers fees and are likely to pay fees for a Mediator or Arbitrator. You might also need to pay fees for the translation of documents, courier fees, land registry fees etc. You will pay court fees to lodge your appeal, for Consent Orders, for hearing fees, for applications and the link. We will always tell you what your court fees are.
