Delphine Akinsete is an SRA regulated Solicitor and a Commissioner of Oaths. She deals with non-contentious and contentious cases from inception to conclusion. She previously worked as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Consultant and she trained to become a Solicitor for two years.  

She is a born advocate who just loves fighting for justice for her clients. Her first Court of Appeal case was won within one year of her becoming a Solicitor in England and Wales. While at a previous law firm, she was promoted to Partner, heading the Private Clients and Litigations departments. She is now the Director and Solicitor of Delphine Philip Law Ltd and she oversees all the cases at this firm.

Profile

Delphine Akinsete advocates at the Tribunals, Magistrates Courts and County Courts and can instruct Barristers to advocate at courts including the High Courts and the Court of Appeal.

She has also been a Law Lecturer in the past teaching Family Law recently at a Law School.

She volunteers her services at law clinics as she has a passion to help people have access to justice.

Her clients are big and small companies and also private clients. She drafts and advises clients on business agreements, Contracts, Settlement Agreements and the like. She provides Independent Legal advice to company Directors and private clients.

 Delphine deals with all heads of the Family law, dealing with low and high net worth claims. Her highest Financial settlement matter claim was worth over £22,000,000. She has won various multi days Fact finding Hearings and Child Abduction and relocation cases.

She also deals with contentious and non-contentious Probate matters. The highest probate estate value that she has administered was worth over £10,000,000 and she has settled and won various cases where Wills were challenged.

Except for high-net-worth cases, clients are confident that Delphine Akinsete would fight for justice irrespective of how much they have, what their gender, race, status, disabilities is. For instance, Delphine acted for an aggrieved mother in a novel non-monetary Probate and Civil Litigation case which she brought to the court to obtain the wrongfully collected ashes of her client’s child.

Delphine advocates at the Immigration Tribunal and has won 98% of her clients Appeals. Many of her cases are reported cases.

She has obtained a Combined Masters at Law, making her a specialist in Medical Law and Ethics, and Environmental Law and policy.
