For all the matters that we handle, it can take up to 6 months to finalise your case. If we will spend more or less time we will let you know. Most times the third party in your case will determine how long it will take your case to come to an end. For instance, we will have to wait for the other side, their Solicitors, the Home Office, the Courts, an Expert etc. to turnaround with a response to us before we can progress your case.
Generally the Home Office and Divorce court needs 6 months to deal with your case. If your case is in the Small Claims court it can take up to 2 months to be finalised. Multitrack cases will take longer as we must follow a protocol that allows for parties to try to settle the case. Financial Settlement and Probate matters can also take up to 6 months or longer to deal with.
